With most if not all RAID 1 the RAID is the size of the smaller drive. The rest of the space vanishes. This is NOT a bug. This has also been discussed before and please research why this happens. Remember that it's NOT A BUG. This was supposed to happen.
As to the drive that's only 250GB.
After I have everything ready for a disaster I would boot up my GPARTED bootable CD to look over the drives and see if there was a way to grow that partition.
I realize that this is a problem of my own making. When I set up my computer with vista 64 home I tried to set it up with RAID. I had 2 seagate drives - 1 250GB and 1 400GB. It sort of worked at first but (as expected) only with 250GB. After many error messages, I decided to forgo RAID, unplugged the 250GB drive and disabled RAID. Everything works fine now but vista still only acknowledge 250GB. BIOS sees 400. Any ideas how I can recover 150GB without starting from scratch?
System is quad core, 4GB, SATA
