Seems pretty good for a laptop that old, assuming it's the original battery. Plenty of people have batteries that barely make it over a year. You're at a year plus, and it still seems to be going pretty strong. Count yourself among the lucky ones.
Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 2930: C2D T5800 @2GHz 3GB DDR2 RAM, 250 GB HDD, Intel 4500MHD GPU, and 12" display (6 cell battery 4400 mAh) Vista H. Premium
I have just tried to know the battery life, so I just set the High Performance advanced power option to all performance and no power saving. Then I unplug my AC adapter, start Smart Defrag, running quick scan with my Avast Free, playing all my songs at 100% volume with WMP, backup my phones' content with Nokia Ovi Suite via bluetooth, then I launch my game (age of empires 3), with speakers at 100%, wifi connected to my network.
I found the battery just survived for around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Compared to when I set to Power Option Settings (all power saving) I can get at least 2,5 hours. Do you think this is just normal (considering the heavy multitasking test I have done) or is this too short battery life? (this is a 1,5 years old laptop anyway)
