vista keeps freezing comp

I had a bad virus so cleaned it out... run vista 64 bit on hp comp...every time i start computer it will work perfectly but after about 15 min it will lock up..cant acess system restore at all and cant find my disc for new install.....can anyone help .... thank you

Remember that virus removal does not the damage is removed.

Removing a virus does not mean the damage is undone. Some folk learn this the hard way.

With that out of the way, let's hear which pest it was as well as make, model and the last time you cleaned the machine with the canned air.
