For the .NET issue I uninstall and remove all .NET prior versions. Apps that need it will prompt to get .NET again.
The 2007 SP3 does fail if the Office is that preinstalled Office. If I find that, I uninstall office.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=13633 notes that came out in 2008. Odd to see it come up today.
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17513 is a daylight savings time tweak. Why bother? Ignore it.
I used the Windows Update to update the following items on my Vista computer.
- .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 and .NET Framework 3.5 Family Update (KB951847) x86
- Security Update for Windows Vista (KB957095)
- Update for Windows Vista (KB97609
- The 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 3 (SP3)
However, the Windows Update is not downloading and it is always showing "Downloading 4 items, 0 KB total, 0% complete".
I just want to know how I can resolve the problem in updating my Vista.
