vista internet connection??

Recently my internet connection says, Connection status: unknown no such interface supported, but my internet works fine. I searched for the reason over the net and found out aim 6.5 can cause that problem. I had just downloaded aim then. now that i have uninstalled aim, but the problem still exsist. can anyone pls. help me.

I have the same thing happening to me....Its ticking me off but my internet still works. Let me ask you... When you try opening up your network connection box, does it take forever to open? Mine does that..

I have the same problems and now I can't share anything over my network. My connections box also takes forever to load. I know that it has nothing to do with drivers and that system restore doesn't fix it. I found a reference to user permissions but it was nice and vauge.
