Vista Home Premium - Add Contacts ?

Sep 7, 2007 6:31AM PDT

I want to add contacts to Windows Mail contacts list... instruction state from the Contacts list to choose "Add" contacts from the toolbar. Only problem is there is no such button on the toolbar. This has never been available to me.

Anyone know how this is done? I am more frustrated every day with VISTA!

Same here...

Seems to be a bit of an oversight. I switched to Windows Live Mail (beta) so I just go New->Contact without opening the separate Contacts window first, but under WM you need to open Contacts from the toolbar and the right-click a blank space and mouse New->Contact. It's a pain, and one of the smaller reasons I switched.

I thought that I was going blind! May try your Windows Live Mail (beta) solution. Don't think I have much to loose with this Vista contraption anyway.

Thanks again for the response.

From your instruction I finally figured it out. Will continue using Windows Mail for the time being. What a "Mickey Mouse" deal and way of doing things. Happy

Thanks again!!

Thanks for posting this, I wanted to know how to do the same thing. It is really a pain to do but at least it can be done.

Appreciation to you both.
