Every time my computer goes into standby mode, the CPU loads all its data into the RAM and then goes dormant, which means that when I wake it up again, it takes from 1 to 3 minutes to load the info from the RAM back into the CPU. I have worked with many different Vista machines, but this is the only one that I have seen that does this--of course it is mine.
I'm running a Micro Electronics PowerSpec with a Pentium D 2.66GH dual core CPU and 2GB of RAM.
