Vista gaming

Jun 17, 2007 11:04AM PDT

Hello. i have windows vista, and enjoy games(bad combination). i have world of warcraft and well was hoping to play it on my new laptop. i get it started up and play for approximately 30 seconds before my compute reboots. it didint let me back into the game, and my pc also reboots while playing other games (except microsoft games surprise surprise) PLEASE if anyone knows how to fix this let me know. its been driving me nuts. free fixes would be best, but if i need to spend money, thts not a huge problem either.

You have a warranty issue.

You can demonstrate the issue on demand so ask them to fix it or refund your money to go get something else.

I'd make it one...

However, nothing has been said about the two computers, such as graphics cards, driver versions, power supplies, etc. There have been compatibility issues with Vista both Nvidia and, to a lesser extent, ATI have been dealing with so a simple driver upgrade may resolve it. It could also be that the power supply is underpowered for the system's usage. (Manufacturers are known to go as cheap as they can.) You could try to get to the bottom of it yourself, but making it a warranty issue may be easier. It's up to you.

If the game is supposed to run and doesn't on your NEW machine then you make it a warranty or refund issue and get it fixed by either method.
