Vista/DSL Connection Problems

Feb 21, 2007 9:55PM PST

I currently have Qwest DSL and have a desktop and laptop connecting to the Qwest Advanced Networking router via a wireless connection. Last night I just set up a new desktop with Windows Vista, I show great signal strength, however I get the ever dreaded "Limited or No Connectivity" message. On my Vista machine I have changed the WORKGROUP name to match, set the Firewall settings the same, etc as the other pc's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm having problems too...HELP !!

I bought a new desktop with wondows vista and I hook online and after anywhere from 5 to 25 minutes I will be surfing and it will come up saying "you have no internet connection". I spent 3 hours on the phone with SBC Yahoo who said that it's nothing they can help with to call HP. HP looked at a couple things and was not figuring anything out after I was on the phone with them for an hour and a half and got diconnected. I called HP back and waiting on the like for 1/2 hour. They waitind while I de-installed Trend Anti-Virus and then put me on hold for 20 minutes. I give up. I don't know what to do. Where do I go? DO I return the computer? Do I get new internet service? Anyone?

Vista/DSL

I just wanted to provide an update. I was finally able to get connected! When setting up a connection in XP, there's a radio button where you can choose to use the default WEP key, I was over looking that option in Vista. I ended up manually entering the default WEP key as defined on my wireless DSL/Router.
