Fortunately, many current players have abandoned proprietary software (such as iTunes or SonicStage) and use simple drag and drop file transfer where the player appears as an extra disk drive. Some offer the option of using Windows Media Player to manage your music.
Neither should cause problems with Vista (fingers crossed).
I was surprised that there weren't more questions on compatibility with Vista with regard to mp3 players. Has this become a non issue? I hope. I want a PDA replacement type portable media player but I need it to be OK with Vista.
I've looked all over the net and I can't find that much information. I'm not very techy so I need something pretty easy to use. Now, I just copy everything onto an SD card and everything works.
Any help will be appreciated
Thanks,
Marsha
