Your ISO disc will start from a cold start or you can run it to upgrade without losing everything if you start the disc in windows.. I can't run it yet until I do these couple things. Dump AVG Free edition (wonder if the paid one runs. lol) . New drivers for my Promise SAT 378(tm) IDE Controller. can't get on the net without new 1394 Net Adapter drivers. My Lexmark X1100 will need drivers Nero Image Drive will needs upgraded, Power DVD won't work CATALYST Control Center won't work, RESTART Runtime, I don't know what that is and above All HELP won't work. So do I bother maybe. I will dump the programs I don't need and try again. also search for Drivers. I also have my Linux Disc if all else fails... So if you Burn't a DVD you should be able to start it .. DON't worry it will check your system on before allowing you to Install. Good Luck..
How do you get the 64-bit Vista ISO? I'm also trying to make a bootable Clone DVD.
If you are an MSDN, Technet, etc subscriber you may be eligible to download the ISO. Aside from that, you'll have to purchase a copy of Vista and, if it is a 32-bit version, request Microsoft send you a 64-bit version DVD at the cost of S&H.

P.S. What are you trying to make a clone DVD of, and why?
Just cloning the Hard Drive with a fresh install of Vista with all the settings, enhancements, etc. so I all I have to do is just transfer it over if I need a reinstall without spending a few hours resetting everything. Found a great program to do it on a boot disk automatically at C/net. True Image, 15 day trial though, but I only need 1 day to make it.
Thanks,
Shawn
