vista blue screen error at shut down

Feb 5, 2007 8:38AM PST

I just installed vista home premium on my computer. At shut down I get a blue screen error. I contacted microsoft and emachines and both could not help. I even updated the video card and that did not solve the problem. The stop message is ***STOP OX0000000A(OXOOOOOOBO,OXOOOOOOO2,OXOOOOOOOO,OX81C11BAF). There was also a message to disable the bios memory option for caching and shadowing. When I told that to the windows guy he told me no. Please help. Thanks

vista blue screen error at shutdown

I am seeing the same error on my HP Pavilion a1547c (Costco bundled PC). I have not been able to find any updates to resolve this. I too uploaded the latest Vista "approved" video drivers for the NVidia GeForce video card. I upgraded from XP Media Center Edition 2005 to Vista Home Premium.

Any advice is appreciated.

I am getting the same message. It has to do with a driver. Can anyone help, before I take this computer and take it back to the store. I have updated all the drivers, since supposely I was told it was the Manual Battery charger.

I thought it was my WIreles modem, but it works fine with XP.
