Vista and sytem mechanic

I installed system mechanic v. 8.0. No apparent problems with the download. Since then, it will no let me download Flash player and everytime I change window and pop-up comes on, asking me permission to allow my tool bar in msn, google, yahoo etc. And I do not have to allow it once but 4 or 4 times.
I wemail mechanic and have not received and answer yet (over a week ago).
What should I do to have these pop-up dtopped and get my flash player? Mind you I no genius when on the computer. I work on it but do not understand to good.

Temporarily disable System Mechanic...

I am not a supporter of System Mechanic or the company that develops it, but, if you prefer it, your best option is to temporarily disable System Mechanic, install/setup any software you desire, and then re-enable System Mechanic. If it continues to be troublesome, though, I would ask for my money back, filing a complaint with the credit card company and BBB if necessary.
