Make the call but why post email addresses?

The only result from posting an email address may be a moderator noting what happens next. You get more spam.

About XP. Many makers offer a free XP downgrade set of CDs. Did you ask Toshiba if they offer such? I know HP has a program for such for a very simple reason. They are not willing to sacrifice their business unit sales on the Vista altar.

I've done the XP downgrades too many times. If Toshiba blew it, you need to get them to help you out or return the money.
