Question

Visio file format compatibility with Thinking Cap studio HTM

Aug 9, 2012 2:28AM PDT

Hello,

I use Visio to create process flow diagrams. In flow diagrams, at every step, I have provided hyperlinks (to open external links or objects) that will open additional info for respective steps.

I need to use these diagrams in my e-learning courses html files which I have developed in Thinking Cap studio.

Now, my concern is, to what format should I export the visio diagrams so that the hyperlinks work when I import the diagrams in my e-learning course.

Any positive response in this regard would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

Warm regards,

Vikram

http://www.thinkingcap.com/services/services.htm appears to show they offer training course on the product. It would be rare to find another user in this forum but let's hope there is someone that has both Visio and this.

My thought is that you should put this question directly to Thinking Cap.

Visio export
Aug 12, 2012 4:01PM PDT

You need files that work on a web page.
Visio will export it's own HTML or,
png, svg, jpg, gif

Any of those should do.

Hyperlinks

I dont think the image formats you are talking about (png, svg, jpgm gif) will be clickable ones. They will be just unclickable images.
