I have no access to said crash so I can't check for the other causes (video, audio, printer and other drivers.) I also can't see the EVENT VIEWER but your IT staff should review that.
For now be sure any patches are installed. I found Outlook 2003 was unstable until I installed a patch at http://forums.cnet.com/7723-6129_102-380443.html?tag=threadListing;forum-threads
Later I found Outlook 2003 to work even better if I didn't use Word 2003 as the editor. That was a clue I found in the Event Viewer.
As you have access to the clues, you can do more research (or your IT folk.)

Running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, 4 GB Ram Dell M4500. Several of us in the office using this setup have problems with Office 2010 crashes and mostly Viso 2003 crashes, Visio is the main problem.
1) Have set compatability mode to Win XP Ser pack 3 and that helped some with Visio 2003 but still having problems.
2) IT support said change Outlook bluetooth add in to 'unchecked' that did not help.
Thoughts on settings changes that can improve the compatability of Visio 2003 running on Win 7 Pro 64 bit?
