Visio 2000 installation on XP-Pro (SP2)

Hi, Could anybody advise if VISIO 2000 could be installed on a XP-Pro (SP2) system. The installation program says a lot of files such as DCOM/Winsock etc will be overwritten. Would it affect my current system.

All Microsoft installs I know of, don't overwrite later versions of dll's. Or at least they ask permission (while advising to keep the later version). I've installed Office 2000 on Win XP without any trouble. I didn't install Visio, I must admit, but then I wouldn't expect Visio to update "Winsock etc".

They had pirated it. It had some trojans too. Be sure yours is legit.
