I can't guess if this is Windows 8 RT or Windows 8. For Windows 8 you use what you want.
For Windows 8 RT it's a controlled system and you can't install a virus.

My daughter has a Windows 8 Tablet and I needs to find a good virus protection app for it. It works as a computer and a tablet, and she accesses email and FB, etc. I presume that it needs one.
Would someone please recommend one or where we find one?
