I recently removed the win32:Sality-GK virus from my Windows 7 laptop (I think, I hope). After trying a few different programs (Mircrosoft Security Essentials, SpyDr., Ad Aware) Avast! anti-virus identified and removed the virus. When I run full scans now it come up clean. My laptop is still running sluggishly and is taking a long time to load anything, and freezing with any open program (Mozilla, Outlook, Excel...). Is there something else I should do?
Also, as a side-question, I purchased my laptop from Staples. I can't seem to remove "easytech" from the user name, even though it shows the correct name in the System files User Name. Any suggestions?
