I would shut off system restore, turn it back on and then do the scan to make sure they are gone. Or you could do 2 scans, one with it turned off and one with it turned back on,. It's your choice but I would definately do one after you have purged the system and have system restore turned back on just to make sure everything is normal. Directions are here.

This morning using my AVG system scan the results showed that there were two viruses found.
Trojan horse Downloader.Generic.OBE and
Trojan horse PSW.Generic.ODZ.
Both were deleted but since these were found in c:\System Volume Information\_Restore... am I going to see them over and over.
What can I do to completely eliminate them? Do I have to turn off system restore, do a complete virus scan and then turn system restore back on?
Your help is appreciated.
