If you read "What this program does", in the below "Security Tool" removal guide, you'll find that it's what's causing (and inadvertently created) your problems. It's not going to fix anything. Scroll down the page, to where you see "Automated Removal Instructions for Security Tool using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware". Follow each and every step.

i put on my computer today and this security tool keeps popping up and scanning and saying that i have 50 something infections. it offers to clear them but when i try to go forward it won't work. "navagation to the web page has been disabled" is the message ...i click on activate security tool but then it says the page is unavailable, like it needs to ACCESS the internet but it can't. but if i close out of it, i can access the interent by clicking on the internet icon. then i continue to get pop messages saying that (different name viruses) are trying to access my credit card information. a friend recommend i download some free software for virus but i try to download it gets blocked or cut off. i was going to www.free.avg.com/www-en/homepage?ctype=ps392se and i don't want to go to one that i have to pay and give my cc info! can anyone help me!>? what can i do? i have a Sony Vaio laptop vgn-nr498e
