But just in case, please try the steps below.
First, on a separate, clean computer, create an Avira Rescue bootdisk which boots in the problem machine and scans the computer for viruses 'outside' of Windows. Once that's done, then follow the instructions at the bottom to install Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware and run them.
First, the Avira Rescue disc:

- place the rescue disc in the infected computer and boot from it. (You'll need to have the BIOS settings so the DVD/CD-Rom drive boots first in the boot order.) When it loads, choose option 1 (Boot from Rescue CD)
- choose English language by using the mouse to select the British flag in the lower left corner.
- If the loading and scanning doesn't start automatically, (it should), then start the scan by click on the "Start Scanner" button at the bottom of the screen.
- If the screen goes black during the scan, you should be able to press the space bar to bring the scan back to view.
-Allow the scan to finish, it takes quite a while, and it should remove or rename the infected files.
After running the scan with the Rescue Disc, then restart the computer into Safe Mode and run Malwarebytes and SuperAntispyware to clean out any remaining junk using the instructions below:
On a friend or family member's computer, download the Malwarebytes installer and update files from the links below, copy them to a CD or flash drive, then transfer the files to the problem machine and use them. If you can't start the computer into "normal" windows, try installing, updating, and running the scans AFTER the computer is started into Safe Mode.. I use the sites below to download the installer file and the manual updater:
Once downloaded and before transferring them to the problem machine, rename the program installer "mbam-setup.exe" file to something else like "Gogetum.exe", then copy the installer file and the update file to a CD or flash drive.. Transfer the file to the problem machine, then install the "Gogetum.exe" file, then run the update to get the program current.. After that, run a full system scan and delete anything it finds.

Next, download the SuperAntispyware program and the manual updater from the links below. After running the Malwarebytes tool above, if you still can't download and install it directly from the problem machine, download it on a friend or family member's computer as well. After installing and updating SuperAntispyware, run another full system scan and delete everything it finds as well. As before, you may need to rename the installer file to get the program to install.:

In a few situations, in order for the program to run, it was also necessary to rename the main "mbam.exe" file also after installing it.. It resides in the C:\Programs Files\Malwarebytes Antimalware folder....
Hope this helps.
I got the virus that pops up antivirus system pro. I also am getting pop ups saying security tool and sercurity warning type stuff. I've tried to download multiple antivirus programs such as malwarebytes, avg, stopzilla and a few others. The virus is blocking them somehow and doesn't allow them to run. I've tried to change the file name of the malwarebytes as I have read to do but that doesn't allow it to run either. I've tried to go in maually as I have read to do and delete the virus but I can't find them anywhere. I have tried to use safe mode as I boot up my computer using f8, it lets me pick safe mode with networking and goes through a list and just freezes there and wont log in (ive also tried just safemode and the other safemode option on the menu). The virus also blocks task manager and the control panel options although I have found that if I keep pushing ctrl, alt delete when its first loggin in I can sometimes get it to come up. But on task manager I don't see any programs with virus type names so that doesn't help much. I also have read to go into documents, all users... then i think if was data applications or something like that and find some files and change the properties off of read only and delete them... but my computer doesn't have the option of data applications nor can I find it anywhere. My computer screen now turns black when I log in but I still have the start menu to access things.
I'm not sure if this all makes sense but I've been working for hours and hours trying everything and nothing is working. Can anyone help me please!
