Virus attack!

by Rwc47 / August 5, 2010 2:52 AM PDT

Hello, today I woke up to my phone going off with a text from my dad saying he has a virus on his computer. So I install malware bytes for him and scan it and sure enough there were 3 infected files. So I delete them. So then I try to load up his internet explorer, wont connect to the internet even though the network is fine and he is connected. So I install AVGFree and scan it on a full system scan and nothing. I do a window's defender full system scan and nothing. His internet still wont show up. I did however also find some interesting things in his task manager proccesses.

rundll32.exe with NO description with 2,120K
and 2 other rundll32.exe's that seem genuine with Window's processes as the description.

After checking the logs of the deleted files on malware bytes, it says it deleted "Rogue.AntiVirusSuite".

So can anyone help me in the removal of this *******?

Ok, malwarebytes scan didn't pick up anything. I restarted his laptop in normal mode and Im going to run another full malwarebytes scan and after that a full AVG scan just to be sure. Checked the registry, everything looks normal.

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
