W32/RJump-B

Type Spyware Worm

W32/RJump-B is a worm for the Windows platform.

W32/RJump-B may attempt to copy itself to usb disk devices and create an "autorun.inf" file which will attempt to load the worm automatically when the infected drive is accessed.

W32/RJump-B also creates a backdoor on a random port between 12000 and 19000, enabling a remote user control over the infected computer.

- to other network computers by exploiting common buffer overflow vulnerabilities, including: LSASS (MS04-011), RPC-DCOM (MS04-012), WKS (MS03-049) (CAN-2003-0812), WebDav (MS03-007), Veritas (CAN-2004-1172) and ASN.1 (MS04-007)
- by copying itself to network shares protected by weak passwords

W32/Rbot-XV runs continuously in the background, providing a backdoor server which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via IRC channels.

The Trojan has the functionalities to

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
