Type Worm

W32/Mytob-AZ is a mass-mailing worm and backdoor Trojan which allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via IRC channels.
When first run W32/Mytob-AZ copies itself to <SYSTEM>\LienVandeKelder.exe.
W32/Mytob-AZ modifies the HOSTS file, changing the URL to IP mappings for selected websites, thus preventing normal access to these sites.

W32/Rbot-ACP is a network worm and IRC backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.
W32/Rbot-ACP spreads using a variety of techniques including exploiting weak passwords on computers and SQL servers, exploiting operating system vulnerabilities (including DCOM-RPC, LSASS, WebDAV and UPNP) and using backdoors opened by other worms or Trojans.
W32/Rbot-ACP can be controlled by a remote attacker over IRC channels. The backdoor component of W32/Rbot-ACP can be instructed by a remote user to perform the following functions:
start an FTP server
start a Proxy server
start a web server
take part in distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks
log keypresses
capture screen/webcam images
packet sniffing
port scanning
download/execute arbitrary files
start a remote shell (RLOGIN)

Type Trojan

Troj/Bdoor-IB is a backdoor Trojan for the Windows platform.
Troj/Bdoor-IB will contact a predefined URL and download a configuration file. Depending on the contents of the file downloaded the Trojan may perform the following tasks:
Contact other URLs
Run commands on the infected system
Update the Trojan
Uninstall the Trojan

Type Worm

W32/Agobot-SK is a worm with backdoor Trojan functionality that allows a remote intruder to gain access and control over the computer via IRC channels.
The worm may spread to remote network shares with weak passwords and by exploiting vulnerabilities.
The following patches for operating system vulnerabilities exploited by W32/Agobot-SK can be obtained from the Microsoft website:
