Description

This Trojan arrives on a system as a dropped or downloaded of another malware from a remote site. It exploits an unknown remote code execution vulnerability found in Microsoft Powerpoint, allowing it to drop and execute certain files in the Windows Temporary and Windows system folders.

Description

W32/HLLP.Sibll!ini is a configuration file related to the virus W32/HLLP.Sibll. For each infection made by the virus, a copy of this file is created in the same folder. McAfee Avert Labs believe this is an indicator used by the virus to indicate what has been infected already.

Description

W32/RJump-Gen detects the RJump family of worms for the Windows platform. W32/RJump-Gen spreads by coping itself to the available mapped drives and creating create an "autorun.inf" file which will attempt to load the worm automatically when the infected drive is accessed.
