W32/Sdbot-MI is a worm which attempts to spread to remote network shares. It also contains backdoor Trojan functionality, allowing unauthorised remote access to the infected computer via IRC channels while running in the background as a service process.
W32/Sdbot-MI copies itself to the Windows system folder as SMBGUARD.EXE and creates entries in the registry at the following locations to run itself on system startup:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
Backup One = smbguard.exe
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunServices\
Backup One = smbguard.exe
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
Backup One = smbguard.exe
W32/Sdbot-MI spreads to network shares with weak passwords as a result of the backdoor Trojan element receiving the appropriate command from a remote user.

W32/Protoride-M is a Windows worm that spreads via network shares. The worm also has a backdoor component that allows a malicious user remote access to an infected computer via the IRC network. This worm can also copy itself into the shared folders of several peer-to-peer (P2P) file sharing utilities.

W32/Sdbot-MK copies itself to the Windows system folder as FXXXH.EXE and creates an entry in the registry at the following location to run itself on system startup:

W32/Sdbot-MK spreads to network shares with weak passwords as a result of the backdoor Trojan element receiving the appropriate command from a remote user.

Troj/Dload-BB is a Trojan for the Windows platform.
When first run, Troj/Dload-BB creates the following registry entry to run itself on system startup:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\mswspl
Troj/Dload-BB downloads files from a remote site and then runs them.

W32/Sdbot-MH is a backdoor Trojan and network aware worm which runs in the background as a service process and allows unauthorised remote access to the computer via IRC channels.
W32/Sdbot-MH copies itself to the Windows system folder as winsx.exe and creates the following registry entry so that the worm is run when a user logs on to Windows:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
winlog = winsx.exe
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\
winlog = winsx.exe
W32/Sdbot-MH remains resident, listening for commands from remote users. If the appropriate commands are received the worm will begin scanning the internet for network shares with weak administrator passwords and will attempt to copy itself to the Windows system folder of these shares as GT.exe

Troj/Small-JU is a Trojan dropper that drops 3 files; matrixhere.exe, <randomly generated name>.dll and <randomly generated name>.tlb into the Windows system folder.
Troj/Small-JU also makes the file matrixhere.exe run at Windows logon.
It also modifies the default Internet Explorer start page and other Internet Explorer settings.
