Anyone out there know of a virus called "jdbg.exe. They say it is not detected by Norton or McAfee AV and stays quiet for 114 days.
My daughter received this e-mail message today:
You have a virus called "jdbg.exe.
To get rid of it, go to folder options and search for "jdbgmer.exe" and if a teddy bear icon and file is there DO NOT open it and delete it. Well, the teddy bear icon and file is there. Another e-mail message said it will do no harm.
I think its somebody playing a trick on her, but shes a little upset and theres always the unexpected. Any advice is appreciated since shes had virus problems in the past and wants it from an expert.
Thanks
George
