Virtual Serial Port?

by raz12345 / January 17, 2006 1:16 PM PST

There are no serial ports on my laptop, and I need to run an application that checks for the existance of a serial port when it is started.

I was using VSPD (Virtual Serial Ports Driver), but the 15 day trial expired.

If anyone knows of a utility or of a way to create a 'fake' serial port, please say so! Grin

Pay up for the software or go get the Belkin or CABLES TO GO USB to serial adapter.
