"that way I can run things with drivers that are not supported by vista"
All the hardware that VP2007 gives to the client OS (XP) is virtual. So you can't install a driver there and hope it will work.
Let's call this a dead end.
I did this in the past where I ran XP from XP, but this time I want to go the extra mile, sort of a tech understanding evolution. The mess up part is that I did it back around 2002 and it was with a software from microsoft but I assume it was virtual pc
I have two hard drives, one with vista, one with XP. When computer starts if I don't touch anything after 10 secs vista business starts.
So I got me Virtual PC 2007 and I would like to start the console while running vista and boot XP also, that way I can run things with drivers that are not supported by vista, but with VP2007 you see the "bios" start but then it gives me a MAC address and trying to connect to a DHCP and it stays there and then tell me to select a boot because it can't find one?
Am I using the right software to do this? Is there a trick to this? can someone give me some help or tips?
