Viore 42" black and white on DVD playback.

My Walmart Viore 42" black and white on DVD playback. When I initially connect the yellow component cable I see color then B&W only. Is there something I am missing?

IF you only connected "one" wire you would only get B&W.
Component requires 3 wires, one for each color.

To hook your DVD player up you will need a component cable of 3 wires and an audio cable of 2 wires or 5 in total. John
