Viewpoint

Can anyone tell me what application Viewpoint is? Viewpoint Searchbar, Viewpoint Mediaplayer...

Is it a program/application that you system comes with or was it downloaded with something we did? I guess what I'm trying to find out is if I can safely delete it from my computer?
