Viewing Some DIVX Films

Nov 1, 2010 12:46AM PDT

Hi All,

I have a problem with some DIVX films when watching on the TV & PC. Basically the sound goes aout of sync after about an hour. This happens on the Samsung and Divx player on my PC, but if I watch it in media player then the sound does not go out of sync so I know its not the file.

Any body come across this before? or is there away to make the TV not use Divx player?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give

Thanks

Ray

Thanks for that. If I wanted to try to fix this file I'd TRANSCODE it into some other version of DIVX or even MPEG. I'll note SUPER (a video converter that is free and has no watermark and is free.)

There are lots of discussions why this happens so I'll not repeat that and leave it with the solution I use. (SUPER)
