At the profile page of a member, the real name can be seen. Previously, it is revealed only when a member views his/her own profile when signed in with that account. Is this a new design ?

There's an option in your profile...

When editing your profile you have the option to display or hide your real name to others. To my knowledge nothing has changed in that regard, with the option existing since before the current 'version' of the Cnet profiles. The majority have not enabled it, though, causing it to be overlooked.
