Viewing flash problems

Aug 28, 2006 12:16AM PDT

IE and Firefox suddenly both will not play embedded videos (Youtube) Message given= Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Macromedia's Flash Player. Click here to get the latest flash player.
Worked fine Friday, verified installs, settings, etc, unable to check on another computer if the same thing is happening. Any body else having this, any suggestions? Have checked security settings, reinstalled Adobe flash, Java, etc. TIA

Finally figured it out-

Had to remove all Macromedia flash players, and Adobe flash players via control panel, then used JV16 to clear the registry of the remnants, rebooted, opened Firefox- attempted opening of video on Youtube, followed instructions for plugin, then same for IE, and now vids work. wonder what happened over the couple of days.

A little help, please?

I am having the same problem and I'd like to follow your example but I don't know what JV16 is? Is it a program? If so, where do I get it?

Thanks in advance.
