The article [Q307116] states that you can set the view setting of all the folders on a computer to match the view setting of the current (selected) folder by clicking Folder Options on the Tools menu in Windows Explorer and then clicking Like Current Folder on the View tab. However, if a folder -- such as the Control Panel, other than the current folder is also open, Windows may not apply the view setting of the current folder to the other open folder(s).
I used to have a tweak to fix this ( for a while at least ) but I can't seem to remember it. I like to have everything set on details except my control panel I like to have it set to icons. Everytime I install or reboot or just about anything it sets the control panel to details. Not a big deal I guess just annoying.
Thanks for any help
