I need to make a ppt album that can be transferred to dvd or otherwise made viewable on a tv. Please tell me it is possible - and how to do it!

I guess I'll just hook up a laptop to the tv like we did last year - unless there is another slideshow program that would do what I am wanting to do. I really don't need much of the ppt features, just a slideshow of an album.
No powerpoint system allows what you asked to be done. You can "play" the powerpoint and record the results and create a movie of said play but you did not ask for that.
What you asked for is not possible today.

See if this from MS offers any help.

I generally use some trimmed down Adobe product due to personal laziness. Powerpoint can create self running slide shows but you run these from the program itself. Maybe the newer PPT, if you have it, will do all that you wish.
