Question

Videos for CNET

Aug 9, 2016 1:31PM PDT

Seems the only videos that won't play on my laptop, are from the cnet site. Anyone know why that may be and how to correct it. I'm signed in, auto play is on but any videos on your site just flash for a second then nothing but a black screen. Many Thanks in advance

Yes it is installed and up to date, many other sites use flash and they play fine. Have win7 and chrome but also have tried to get them to play in IE 11, both are a no go. Thanks

I've Had Problems With CNET Videos When...

...the Flash settings for "Storage" were set for privacy. CNET wants their cookies to be saved with info for Flash. So, open the Control Panel, then double click on the Flash Player icon. Once there, in the "Storage" tab, make sure the to select for "Allow sites to save information on this computer".

Hope this helps.
