I have a Panasonic SDR-T50 camera with a memory card. It came with the above software. The first five times I downloaded the memory card with many scenes in each video, the program processed and created a DVD that played the scenes as a regular finalized DVD video. My last memory card download created 26 video clips(scenes), all of which play well individualy in VideoCam Suite 3.0. But when I set them in sequence in the program to be processed and made into a player compatible DVD, after 24 minutes of processing and 2:06 minutes before completion I get a message "An error occured while the video was being copied. Copying cancelled". I tried many things to get a player DVD, no luck. I was able to copy the raw scenes, and play each of them back thru my DVD drive, but could not string them together and create a player DVD. Video recording ought to be a lot simpler and more straight forward than it is. VideoCam gives me no info on what the problem is.
I know that many a user has had issues with VideoCam Suite 1.0. It seems that if you were going to read the negative reviews of that software it would take you hours to got through them all. My question is, is VideoCam Suite 3.0 a significant improvement? I am guessing yes since I don't see many people bashing it. Thanks! JT
