There are a couple of options.
1. Get a standanlone DVD recorder and just plug your 8mm camera audio and video into it and make a DVD. There are units that have VHS and DVD recoring, you can make eather one from your 8mm.
2. Get a video capture card for you PC, hook the audio and video to the capture card, capture the video then burnit to a DVD.
3. Get MiniDV camera that has the analog to digitail pass through and hok your 8mm to it and then capture to the PC and burn to DVD.
#1 is probably the easiest, but it will be hard to edit the video. #3. would be the next logical choice if your planning to get a new camera. John
I have an 8mm Canon now and would like to upgrade my camcorder. What I would like to do with the camcorder is tape my daughter at gymnastics and be able to upload the video to my computer and send it to friends and family. Is this possible? If it is what do I need for a new camcorder and or software.
Thanks in advance for your help.
