And Hulu is choppy when full screen. Leave it in a window mode and it's ok.
At 1.3 GHz and about the performance of a Pentium 3 you are right. It is just like years ago.
About the wifi. Hulu buffers when you pause so you can dismiss that pretty quick.
I just bought a refurb Acer Aspire One 11.6" netbook with Atom processor and 1GB ram, with microsoft XP(thanks Cheapskate!). I primarily wanted this computer to watch Hulu etc. However, almost every time I've tried to watch video, the video is choppy. feels like I'm back 5 years ago when online video wasn't up to par. I don't believe it's my FIOS internet connection (video's play fine on my Dell work laptop). What is my issue? poor wireless card on netbook? Poor Atom processor? not enough ram? Since this is a refurbed netbook, i wanted to make sure there isn't a problem with it. Thanks!
