Video Streaming?

Is there a relatively simple way to stream video from my computer to my TV on my wireless network? Is it also possible to do the reverse - from my TV to my computer? All suggestions appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hardware? Providers? etc.

You really need to be more specific in describing your current setup, and what components you would consider purchasing/utilizing. Make, models, type of connections, cable or satellite providers, etc. is always helpful in the context of such a discussion/inquiry.

That said, relatively recent products such as Slingbox make much of what you describe a reality. The actual details of what you would require do depend though on what hardware you utilize.

Video Streaming?

Pedro: Thanks for the clarification. I own an HP Pentium 2.3 desktop connected by DVI (no HDMI on the HP) to a 24" Dell monitor. My AV system is a 50" Panasonic plasma (with extra HDMI slots available) with a Time Warner HD DVR. Linksys "G" router. Would ideally like to stream Hulu, Netflix, etc. to the Panasonic and, if feasible, the cable output to the Dell monitor. As I'm not an expert, I have no idea whats out there in terms of both equipment and cost. I do know of Slingbox and assume it would allow me to stream from the cable box to the computer monitor. Would it also allow the reverse - from the monitor to the Panasonic? Thanks for your reply.
