Video slows down, as if still pictures

May 26, 2007 3:36PM PDT

Whenever i try to watch online video after a few minutes the video and audio slow down. Not like slow motion. More like a collection of still pictures with a top fly down effect. The audio suffers too.
This starts just as some noise(fan?) in my laptop turns on.

Ive tried different browsers(opera, IE , Firefox) different websites(youtube,.....) to no avail.

Whats up with my pc?

Streaming video. . .

is processor and RAM intensive. Too little of either or both will cause this. Since you didn't share any of your specs. . .

Same Hardware, Same Problem!
Jun 7, 2007 4:11PM PDT

Also, if I look at the processor speed under "my computer" properties, it lists 516mhz, although it is a 1.6ghz processor - it's always on the docking station, so running on battery is not the problem.

Problem exists in both Firefox and IE.

Please help!
