video shared memory

i just bought an inexepensive HP desktop ,it says RAM 512 ...but when i open properties on my computer i see 384 ram ,i asked and was told the 128 is shared with video ,i use the desktop for office work video not very important for what i use pc for,,,how do i change the 128 to 64 or even 32 so that i can better the performance and speed of office apps ? thank u ,please email me at vtatsis@aol.com .thank u.

...is to provide questions and answers for EVERYONE to see..As a result, we don't e-mail such requests..In addition, because these are worldwide forums, it's not a good idea to post your e-mail address here..You never know what type of mail you may receive as a result of that posting.

That said, IF the "shared RAM" adjustment option is available on your computer, it will be located in the BIOS settings. Many computers can't adjust shared RAM at all.
