Question

Video Presentation Software

Apr 28, 2015 4:22AM PDT

Hi All,

I am currently in the process of creating a presentation for a colleague that will be presented at a conference.

The goal is to have a Powerpoint style presentation, but instead of using still image slides, use a series of videos instead (between 10-15 videos ranging from 1 minute to 4 minutes)

I was hoping someone would know of any software purpose built for this style?

the presenter has stressed that if for instance the video is 2 minutes long, he may need to click through to the next video before the clip has ended (to coincide with his speech)

On stage he will be using a standard "clicker" many people use to present with.

Is there software or any workaround (maybe a video playlist in media player software) that can achieve this goal?

i would like to steer clear of Powerpoint and keynote as they are clunky, as the goal is for the transition to be seamless. If possible a fading option between video slides would be great.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you both for the reply,

i was hoping that there would be a more professional/specific video presentation software available?

i am a graphic designer so any high end programs should be ok for me as i have left enough time to familiarise myself with software

Not sure if Adobe apps were on the list.

There are tutorials for Adobe Presenter and such that do incorporate video, can pause or skip to a video and more.
