I forgot to point out that the reason that I can't afford it is because it would go over the limit, therefore incurring a 15cent per MB download fee.
Yes, afford.
I live in Australia, and love the podcast. However, could you please thing about lowering the bit rate a bit? I know that this may seem like an odd thing to do, however the internet plans in Australia are just pathetic. For example, for $30.00 a month, I can get 256/64kbps connection speed, with only 200MB download limit! And it gets worse! The 'Unlimited' plan with Bigpond, Australias largest ISP, costs $130 for 1500/256mbps. But if you real the fine print, 'Unlimited' is only 10GB per month! If you want more examples, go to www.bigpond.com
Anyway, Im probably getting angry about Telstra in the wrong place, but this still proves my point.
So if you think you get ripped off, we will just have to make do with our broadband, our $1.69 per song Itunes, overinflated prices on everything, (see Logitech australia as an example), and our pathetic excuse for cnet (www.cnet.com.au)
I apoligise again for the rant, its just that im not very happy ![]()
Oh, and P.S Molly, there is a box with a Hard Drive, and no DRM. You can also make and download programs to extend its functionality, which is cool. Its the Topfield tf5000pvrt. (www.topfield.co.kr)
P.P.S LOVE THE FORUM!!!!! (And can you please mention at least one of my comments in the podcast, because that would be awsome! ![]()
