Why does ANYBODY ever pay attention?
Feb 26, 2006 1:48PM PST

Honestly, when is the last time anybody has ever seen a photo of an upcoming Apple product that wasn't a fake? Why do these blagh sites even entertain them as a rumor?

Maybe there's been one but I sure as heck don't remember ever seeing it.

I wish I were creative enough to be able to do something like that.

Agreed

I was astonished by the video, the way they made it! Apple ought to make it just out of the fact that someone took that much time to make a fake!

You probably are.

I might be impressed if it were video footage of the fake but a simple picture? Half of us on here could do that including you, Terry!

I don't know about that ..

Photoshop to me is almost like kryptonite to Superman. I open it up, and immediately, my IQ plummets 20 points. Happy

I tend to forget everybody doesn't use it on a daily basis. And to be honest, I have recevied some projects from people where I marvel at the depth of the layers and effects they have applied.

But this iPod fake, you could be doing inside of your first few days in Photoshop. And for the guy to videotape his work to prove he was the one to fake it - what a friggin' ego. Steve Jobs' ego, I can respect because he actually accomplished something amazing. This guy... it was easy and rather stupid and nobody should ever give credence to such things.

Oops

Sorry, Terry. I just re-read my post and it could come off as a bit of a brow-beating. Not my intention Happy I'm just venting my frustration at all these idiots posting fakes all the time, especially when people actually believe them.

No need to apologize Kevin ..

I didn't take offense to it. Heck, I probably should break down and learn it one of these days, since the school I work in uses Photoshop on a very regular basis (an Architecture school).
