I have a MSI fx5200 tdr128 .. video card and I can not figure how to get the video in part of that card to work.
The book says I need to load a video capture driver but for the life of me I can not find it on the CDs

I emailed MSI but so far no response.

I want to hook my digital camera to the video card to be able to review pictures or to frame pictures when the camera is at an angle that I can not see the LCD.

I can do that thru the TV but I would like to use the computer.

Thanks in advance

You have the generic manual.

It's the same manual they hand out with most cards. Or you have the wrong one.

The make/model card you have does not have this feature so don't waste anymore time trying to make it go.

HOWEVER if you made a typo on the make/model number, we can have a go at this again.

Thanks Robert;
It seems you are correct, I wonder why they give you the adapter when it will not work?
Thanks again

Generic parts again...

The adaptor may be needed to bring the TV-out signal. If I look closely I can see the video digitizer "PADS" when the chip goes, but no chip. So its the same printed circuit board (PCB) for both models.

It costs money to get the manuals tuned to each variant of the board and more money to make yet another cable so why not hand out the adapter and manual with some sticker that not all features are available and to change the card's feature list.

What I use...

The ATI or Hauppauge TV cards. Both do just as good a job on capture plus I don't have to buy that feature on the video card.

less than 50 bucks.
