video from digital camera now has grain?

Oct 26, 2007 12:35PM PDT

Recently downloaded images and video from a digital camera using the card from camera not usb cable. After reviewing the videos immediately afterwards everything seemed fine. Clear as a bell. Pictures are fine no problem there. The next day when I went to view them it seemed like the video was grainy? My imagination or what the heck happened? Using Dell inspiron 1705 laptop. Camera Nikon recent model. Using most current Quick time program (not pro). The ext on file is mov. Can this be fixed? Is there another program this can be run in to make it less grainy? What could have happened. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks
