It should be laid out first what this MP4 file is. Since it's a CONTAINER as noted at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_video_container_formats it would never make any difference which container system you used.
Encoding, compression is not dictated by "MP4." It's a common problem when folk start learning about video file containers.
So everyone is right. No difference at all. A bucket is a bucket.
Which method creates the best MP4 file from a VHS tape?
Transferring it to DVD, then importing and converting the VOB file(s) to MP4? or
Hooking up a vcr to a digital converter and importing the conversion into the computer as an MP4 file?
Some of my customers seem to think the latter method is better whereas I can see no difference. Any ideas?
